Meet the girls.

Hello, my name is Chaton. Join the Club. is a kind of photoblog about Mini-toko’s Frara Dal doll, her kustomisation, her dollhouse, etc. And her friendly other dolls. And some good tips and links to shop or learn more about this JunPlanning Doll.
Chaton is my very first japanese doll. I found her when I started to look for some Flickr pics about Blythe dolls. As soon as I saw her, Blythe looked very ugly to me and I bought my frara dal doll very quickly, built a « small house » for her and sew some outfits…
As I was searching for a nice place to chat about this doll, I found a French Blythe forum very interesting with nice people sharing their tips and love for dolls, specialy Blythe ones.
Never say never. I thaught really hard I won’t buy a blythe in my life (too expensive, looks too much like a « woman », weird head, etc) but as in my own life I was planning to get pregnant for the first time, I thaught it could be fun for Chaton to have a child, so I decided to buy a petite blythe – less expensive – and I’ll see what this doll really looks like… So Maou arrived. Let me tell you a petite blythe is very very small and it’s less fun to sew something for her…
Your credit card say : Never surf on Flickr, please. Flickr is one my favorite place on internet to find anything special : vintage kid books, vintage cereal boxes, disneyania, craft stuff, dolls. One day, I was really surprised to find one of my favorite illustrator character in a doll : French kitty by Fine. I used to buy his books. I needed to have this doll made by Madame Alexander. You must know that Kitty is really cute but can’t move her legs and arms like others do.
If you start, you won’t stop. That’s what girls from Frenchy Blythe community told me. Always trust girls who have more than 4 Blythe dolls.
Because of wonderful pics I saw on Flickr again, I decide to change my mind and bought a Lounging Lovely on ebay. And Poney-jo arrived. And I was very disappointed. Her make up made me feel she looks like a b*tch, her flat head was awful and she didn’t look like a child which is the thing I like the most about Chaton.
Very quickly, I ask someone to customize her. I didn’t like her make up, her lips, her eyes so Takuya changed everything and then I found in love with her at last.
A few months later, (insert « Flickr effect » here again), I decided I needed a MSR blythe (MissSallyRice) : her milk skin, her make up, her lips and blue hair made me think she was the one for me. And she is. I think that if I bought this one before Poney, I never would have bought the Lounging lovely (oops, sorry Poney !).
Lapin is just amazing, no custom needed.
So, here’s the whole story of the Club. And I swear : I won’t buy any dolls no more. (for a while at least).
OOPS ! Talked too fast…
Santa Klaus 2008 brought Bambi under my xmas tree. I swear I did not ask for her ! Believe I’ve been so nice during the year…
So Bambi is a Cloud 9 Blythe with an rockabilly outfit – Gorgeous ! She’s marvellous red hair and sweet and light make up.
Each of my Blythe dolls got her own style which is more fun, I think !
